David,
Wow. I didn't realize (ever) that you were going through any of this during all of those years that I knew you. I am so sorry. You know, you see someone every day for all those years, and you just, well, I guess you just take them for granted. And I'm very sorry for doing that. I just always thought that you were a really nice guy... a very shy guy, but a really nice guy. I never knew your inner struggles. I guess I was always wrapped up in my own little world. Maybe we all were back then. But I'm sorry. I know from reading your story that a lot of this happened several years after high school, and I wasn't really around you then, but I can't help but feel that if you had felt more like you fit in in high school, maybe this wouldn't have happened, or happened to such a degree, to you afterwards. Either way, I am so grateful to God that He gave you the inner strength and wisdom to make it through and to resist Satan's temptations so that you are able to be here now and share your story so that someone else might be set free from the very same thing that you experienced. It takes a great deal of courage to express to others what you went through. I know that doing it to glorify God makes it seem so much easier, but it is still noteworthy and quite a commendable thing. There are so many people out there, Christians or not, who are not willing to share personal experiences with others, whether it be their story of salvation or other experiences, for fear of being rejected or sheer unwillingness to let others in. We are told to go forth and bring others to Christ, and we are to also help our brothers and sisters however we can. I know that you are truly doing this, whether you reach your 100,000 or 1,000,000. God bless you and best wishes! I'm proud to call you my friend!

It's weird ya'll say i have courage. That's been the one thing i always avoided. But God makes all things new to those who are in Christ. Pretty cool :)
